About the brand
The Mlékárna Hlinsko dairy was founded in 1939, and production started in 1943. In its first year of operation, the dairy processed two million litres of raw milk, from which it made milk powder, condensed milk, butter and dried whey.
Since 1964, the products have been available on the market under the Tatra brand name, which has been in use ever since. The Mlékárna Hlinsko dairy has expanded its production with products such as Tatra Zmrzka (ice cream) and Tatra Professional (which are delivered within the gastronomy segment and used by professional chefs).
