Duvel 666 - The Moortgat family has given the world's beer drinkers a lot to thank them for. They created the world's first golden, clear, yet strong, and ale-type beer, the now legendary Duvel, which literally means "devil". In 2021, in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Brewery, the Belgian masters created a new and special Duvel: the Duvel 666.

This beer perfectly balances the rich beer heritage of Belgium with 21st century innovation.

6 different hop varieties are used for Duvel 6.66%: the base is still the noble and exclusive Saaz and Styrian Golding hop varieties. The taste is then balanced by adding four expertly selected hop varieties to the blend, which includes a dry hopping process.

Producer information

The story of Duvel Moortgat is based on respect for tradition and family values. Today, the 4th generation of the Moortgat family preserves the legacy of founder Jan-Leonard Moortgat and his two sons, Albert and Victor. In 1923, they started producing Duvel with a few crates. Nowadays, Duvel is literally enjoyed by countless beer lovers all over the world (in more than 60 countries). The beer is still brewed with deep respect for the original recipe and the time needed for maturation.
