Product description
Martontej cheese is made from milk. By adding the appropriate rennet, pressing the cheese dough, resting it, and salting it, a flavorful, solid Trappist-type cheese is produced, whose long shelf life is achieved by the beneficial effects of salt.

Martontej Kft.'s Holstein-Friesian cattle herd of nearly 1000 animals produces not only a large quantity of milk, but also first-class milk, thanks to the mono-diet, GMO-free feeding. 80% of the feed is produced by themselves from bulk feed and grain.
The manufacturer's specialty is that they keep everything in their own hands, from crop production to animal husbandry, from processing to getting the product to the stores, which gives them complete control and supervision. In our processing plant, they produce their 55 or so products made from excellent quality milk under a strict HACCP quality system. Martontej's basic principle in the production of its products is that they are free of artificial additives, colors and flavors, so that only carefully tested and inspected ingredients can be included in their products.
