BWT water filter cartridges have a lifespan of 30 days, so they should be replaced monthly. It is therefore worth ordering a larger pack at once, which is also more cost-effective.

The BWT Longlife Mg2+ filter cartridge is responsible for preparing filtered water. The task of the water filter cartridge is to purify water from chlorine and heavy metals, and to add valuable magnesium* to the filtered water. This not only allows for softer and cleaner water to be easily prepared at home, but also healthier water. The water purification cartridge also takes care of your family's health. One jug a day covers nearly 20% of the daily magnesium intake for adults. Moreover, the end result will be delicious, mineral water-tasting water.

* In the case of 2.5 liters of average water with 17 German hardness, the amount of added magnesium is approximately 60 mg, which is 20% of the recommended daily magnesium intake (considering the WHO's recommendation of 300 mg magnesium / day).

The water filter fulfills the criteria for filtering out chlorine, lead* and copper, according to DIN 10521 requirements. * The extent of reduction depends on the concentration in the water to be treated. BWT products are manufactured according to strict quality standards and HACCP requirements.

Storage

Spare filter cartridges should always be stored in their original packaging until they are replaced. Spare filter cartridges should be stored in a cool place and protected from direct sunlight.
