Marks and Spencer Wild Icelandic Haddock Fillets

Our frozen wild Icelandic cod fillets are responsibly sourced from the icy, clear waters of Iceland to ensure the highest quality and traceability. They provide a source of protein and are marked with the Eat Well label, so you can be sure they are a healthy choice and can be part of a balanced diet. Try them brushed with Mornay sauce and baked in the oven until bubbling!

Preparation

From frozen in the oven:
Preheat the oven. Place the fillet in an ovenproof dish, add 45 ml of water, and dot with butter. Season with salt and pepper, then cover with foil.

• Electric oven: 190°C
• Fan oven: 170°C
• Gas oven: Mark 5
  Cook for 30 minutes.

From frozen by boiling:
Place the fillet in a shallow pan, pour in milk or water, and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes.

From frozen by grilling:
Preheat the grill to a medium heat. Place the fillet on buttered foil, dot with butter, season with salt and pepper, and grill. Turn halfway through cooking. Grill for 16 minutes.

From frozen by microwave:
Place the fillet in a microwave-safe dish, cover with microwave film, and pierce the film. Allow to stand for 2 minutes.

• 750W: 6 minutes 30 seconds
• 900W: 6 minutes
