Our frozen wild Icelandic cod fillets are responsibly sourced from the crystal clear waters of Iceland, ensuring quality and traceability. They're a source of protein and have our Eat Well logo, so you can be sure it's a healthier choice and part of a balanced diet. Delicious baked with Mediterranean herbs and a drizzle of olive oil.
Cooking instructions (from frozen): For best results, oven bake. Remove all packaging. To cook 2 cod fillets, more than two may require longer cooking times. Oven: preheat oven, place contents of pack into a fireproof dish. Add 45ml water, dot with butter and season with salt and pepper. Cover with foil. Cook for 30 minutes at 190°C, fan 170°C, gas 5. Poaching: place the fish in a shallow dish. Cover with milk or water and bring to the boil, simmer for 10 minutes. Grilling: preheat grill to medium. Place the fish on a buttered foil parcel. Brush with butter and season with salt and pepper. Grill for 16 minutes. Microwave: place the fish in a microwaveable container. Cover with cling film. Pierce the cling film. Microwave on high for 6 minutes 30 seconds at 750W or 6 minutes at 900W. Leave to stand for 2 minutes. Do not reheat.
Keep frozen at -18°C. Once defrosted do not refreeze. Consume within 24 hours of defrosting.
