Meggy Kofola. The legendary Czechoslovak drink with a unique taste and aroma, spiced up with sour cherry juice, with an exceptionally pleasant taste. Made from a mixture of 14 herbs and fruit juices, with a pinch of liquorice. If you love it, nothing else matters!

Producer information

The Kofola drink was born in 1960 in Czechoslovakia. By 1968, it had become a popular drink in most households and was also a favourite with shoppers. It became so popular that in 1970 it was even mentioned in song lyrics. Perhaps this also contributed to the fact that 180 million litres of Kofola were already being produced annually. By 1977, it had become part of people's everyday lives, and there was no corner shop where Kofola could not be bought. Kofola's success has been unbroken ever since, and in the Czech Republic and Slovakia it is a serious rival to its popular competitors, Coca Cola and Pepsi.
