A major player in the chocolate bar market, Tibi chocolate has been present on the Hungarian market for more than 70 years. In 1941, chocolate lovers could first take the sweets off the shelves of the shops, the Tibi chocolate, which is still well-known and popular today - which was named after the grandson of the factory founder. The ribbed chocolate, primarily intended for children, was available in 2.5 and 5 dkg packages, which were advertised with posters saying “Tibi is not only mom's favorite”. Thanks to the extensive advertising activity, the brand, which was becoming increasingly popular among adults both nationwide and abroad, soon had to modify its original advertising slogan to “Tibi is not only children's favorite”. After nationalization, Tibi was one of the few products that has remained in the Bonbonetti Kft. range to this day.

Over the past 70 years, the shape and packaging of Tibi has changed a lot, and the range has been expanded with many new products, as a result of which it has become one of the most popular chocolate brands. For example, with the chocolate bars produced in 1 year, 15 standard football fields could be covered, or a tower could be built up to the top of Mount Everest by stacking the bars on top of each other.
