About the brand
In the mid-19th century, Antal Dreher introduced the bottom-fermentation brewing technology and developed a new type of beer: Lagerbier. Later, thanks to this, he received the honorary title of “King of Beer”, and this became the basis of the great Dreher beers.
Following in his footsteps, the factory introduced the Arany Ászok brand in 1928, which was produced until the nationalization in 1948. The light and extremely popular “red ace” beer was re-produced in 1989 after a 40-year break. The key to the success of Arany Ászok is its exceptionally silky taste, thanks to the longer cooking time.
