Aranymetszés Friss Irsai Olivér

Irsai Olivér is a traditionally Hungarian variety, its aroma is muscat, its taste is fruity. In addition to the strong grape flavour, we can discover citrus fruits. Its fragrance intensity is unbeatable, and its quality is outstanding when prepared as a primeur wine. 

Producer information

Péter Varga started working in the Badacsonyörs winery with his wife and parents on January 4, 1993. Today he works with his two sons and hopes that they will later continue the winery with his grandchildren. Over the past 20 years, Hungarian viticulture has been fundamentally renewed professionally and technologically, and the quality of wines has reached Western European standards. In parallel with this, the demand of consumers has also developed and changed a lot. Today, people drink less and rather taste wines; they look for the interesting and the special. They no longer drink only the wines of nearby wine regions, but are in the mood to get acquainted with the wine selection of the country, Europe and even the whole world. Therefore, it is not enough to make only beautiful, balanced wines, we need wines that leave a mark on the consumer, that they will remember and will choose again from the thousands of items on offer.
