Etyeki Ifjonc Matured Semi-Hard Goat Cheese
Our Matured cheeses, which received a Bronze award at the 2022 World Cheese Awards international competition, are also made from whole goat's milk and reach their characteristic, distinctive flavour and texture after several weeks or months of maturation.
The cheese dough is flexible and easy to cut. As a result of much experimentation, its aroma and flavour are not obnoxiously "goaty", so even those who are not particularly fond of goat's cheese can try it with confidence. Its surface is protected by a yellow cheese coating, which also helps it to mature during this time. The coated cheese rind is not edible. The product is made from 100% whole goat's milk.

Artisan cheesemaking is not just their job, but their passion. With almost a decade of experimentation and refinement behind them, they believe that the essence of their cheeses lies in the details. Their goats, raised on their own organic hay in the fresh air of the farm, repay the care and love with excellent quality milk. This whole goat's milk is an essential ingredient in their products, which are traditionally produced without preservatives or flavour enhancers, and are consistently of high quality.
Their expanding range includes fresh cheeses, semi-hard matured cheeses, grilling cheeses and soft cheeses matured with white mould.
