This can be natural due to the high fat content and processing of the product, and does not affect either the quality or the edibility. Hajdúhús 2000 Kft. was established on March 23, 1998 within the framework of a family business. The owner and managing director of the company is István Papp, who leads the company with almost 50 years of professional experience and dedication to the profession. He is a recognized member of the board of the Slaughter Animal and Meat Product Council, and his work contributes significantly to the development of the meat industry sector. Their company is the most significant meat industry enterprise in Eastern Hungary, operating a slaughterhouse that produces high-quality production that meets EU requirements and European standards, and carries out domestic and export sales. The plant is licensed to slaughter, bone and cut 2000 pigs per day.
Hajdúhús implements significant developments and investments year after year: in the spring of 2017, their new, nearly 1100 m2 processing plant was opened, where they produce quality finished products from the pork they process, using modern technology. Their latest investment was completed in 2022, within the framework of which a new, approximately 10,000 m2 processing, boning and freezing plant was built. During the production of the products, the food safety, product quality, traceability, hygiene and production technology conditions are strictly controlled. They respect and love traditions and are proud that their products have been made from impeccable raw materials based on traditional recipes and traditional methods for years.
