Alce Nero organic tomato purée is made from elongated tomatoes, including the Coimbra, Ercole and other varieties, grown by around 30 farms in the Po Delta in the provinces of Ferrara and Ravenna. The tomato varieties selected for making the finished purées and sauces have firm, well-structured flesh and a sweet, delicate flavour.

Producer information

Behind Alce Nero are organic farmers and growers who have been producing food from farms that respect the land since 1978. They work with over 1000 Italian and 10000 Central and South American family businesses.

They have been involved in organic farming for over 40 years, taking care of the balance between the Earth and its inhabitants. In order to maintain this balance, they wanted to deal with the production of food that is good for both. They only use ingredients free from synthetic substances for their products, the list of ingredients is short and simple, free from preservatives and additives.

They offer tasty, simple, everyday food that brings the family together around the table.

Storage

Store in the refrigerator after opening and consume within 3-4 days.
