Product description
Ricotta, also known as whey cheese, is made from the whey left over after making cheese. Its taste is neutral, slightly sweet, and its texture is soft and creamy. A real light delicacy! The product won a bronze award at the VIII. Hungarian Cheese Show. Serving suggestion: Seasoned with salt and spices, spread on toast and stuffed into meats. We recommend it instead of cottage cheese in salty and sweet pastries. It can also be consumed as a dessert with dried fruits, honey, or jam.

ZILDA would like to introduce consumers to A2 milk and dairy products. What is worth knowing about A2 products:
- There is no change in taste or texture compared to products made from A1 milk
- The difference between A1 and A2 is only the change of a single amino acid
- This small change can have many positive physiological effects on our body
- Thanks to the difference in amino acids, peptides are produced during digestion, which can have a blood pressure lowering effect, or even have a beneficial effect on type 1 diabetics.
The products are made from GMO-free, A2, whole milk, following the concept of Farm to Table, without added colors and additives. This is what really means quality to them.
Producer information
The main activity of Makrom Kft., founded in 1992, is cattle breeding and the plant cultivation serving it. The ZILDA Dairy Plant, completed in 2019, joined this to process and sell the produced milk. They currently farm on an area of nearly 800 hectares. Since one of the secrets of high-quality milk is a well-fed cow, they pay great attention to the diet of their animals. In order to produce quality milk, they also plant their crops in quality soil. It is very important for them to harvest every plant at the most optimal stage of development, so they can provide their animals with the best nutritional value feed.
It is worth knowing about their milk that it has been of extra quality since the beginning, and has also met the requirements of GMO-free milk in domestic and international accreditation. Most of their cows have A2A2 genetics, so they already produce the "original milk". Since March 2022, they have been producing their products from A2 milk. The Holstein-Friesian Association was the first in Hungary to declare them as a herd performing genomic selection on A2 individuals. Makrom Kft. ZILDA Dairy Plant won the 2nd prize in the "Product Fee for Hungarian Animal Husbandry 2022" competition with its application entitled "New A2 Dairy Products from ZILDA".
