Product description
Creamy, distinctively mild, slightly sour low-fat curd cheese made from Alpine milk using traditional methods. During milk production, special attention is paid to protecting natural habitats, waters, pastures, and to continuously ensuring animal welfare.
The returnable glass bottles are part of the standard range and can be refilled 20-25 times.
Producer information
The Berchtesgadener Land dairy was founded in 1927. Their farms are located along the Alpine ridge between the Watzmann and the Zugspitze.
Sustainable packaging
Reusable bottles and two-component cups are part of the standard range. They do not use PET bottles and have been using cardboard packaging made from renewable raw materials since 2017. Since 2010, every farm has been using GMO-free feed on its farm.
Without glyphosate and genetic engineering
Their farmers do not use herbicides at all. They manage their farms naturally and sustainably, thus preserving the variety of grasses and medicinal herbs.
