The Diplomatico Mantuano contains rums aged for 2-8 years. This gives it a very mature and smooth character, making it great for cocktails or sipping neat.

In the heart of the breathtakingly beautiful Terepaima National Park lies the Unidas distillery, which produces the most diverse range of rums in Latin America. It is also one of the few distilleries in the world capable of producing not only rum, but also gin, whiskey, vodka, brandy and countless liqueurs – and all to an exceptional standard.

Diplomático is a family business, which handles everything from plant cultivation to bottling in-house in order to create rums of outstanding quality. The brand was founded in 1959 and is owned by Destilerías Unidas S. A.

Its distillery is located in Venezuela, at the foot of the Andes. The proximity of sugar refineries was a key factor in choosing the site.
