In 1992, MILEX Slovakia, a. s. was established as a joint-stock company from the state-owned dairy company MILEX. In the same year, RAcionálny JOgurt (Rational Yogurt) was born, which later gave the company the name RAJO. In 1996, the company's general meeting approved the new name of the company: The name was chosen based on one of the successful products in the MILEX portfolio - a low-fat yogurt called RAJO. Rajo yogurt had been in the Milex production program since 1991 and was a well-known and popular product at that time, which is why this name was chosen for the new company name.
