The Berke Guanciale bacon is a domestic, premium reinterpretation of one of the noblest ingredients of traditional Italian cuisine. Guanciale is nothing more than carefully selected pork jowl or neck bacon, made unique by a long maturation process, seasoning, and artisanal care. With this special product, the Berke manufactory brings the traditional Italian flavour to Hungarian tables – in excellent quality, made from natural ingredients.
The uniqueness of guanciale comes from the perfect ratio of finely marbled fat and meat layers, thanks to which intense, rich flavours are released during cooking. The seasoning subtly highlights the natural aromas of the raw material, resulting in a harmonious, full-bodied taste experience.
This bacon is an essential ingredient for original Italian carbonara, amatriciana, or gricia pasta dishes, but it is also excellent on its own, thinly sliced, perhaps as part of an antipasti platter.
