About the distributor

Sándor Hegedűs, founder/owner of Hegedűs-Hús.

Their story originates from the heart of the Great Hungarian Plain, from Tiszafüred, the capital of Lake Tisza. In 2007, or more than 15 years ago, the passion began that still accompanies his every day when he enters the factory or his office.

During his "guest work" in the 90s, he gained a lot of experience, which he wanted to capitalize on at home in Tiszafüred. He believes that the secret of success is humility, perseverance, endless work capacity, and the will that he has felt since childhood to create something lasting.

For him, Hegedűs-Hús is not just a workplace, but his life's work, where he works with nearly 100 colleagues every day, with the best of their knowledge.

He believes in tradition, traditional manufacturing technology, quality ingredients and expert hands. He believes that good things can only be made from outstandingly good ingredients, which is why they only work with Hungarian pigs. They produce nearly 100 different products in their factory, all of them lactose-, gluten-, soy- and additive-free.

Each of their recipes is a story. The meeting of the past, the present and the future...

Due to their attention, care, maximalism and striving for the best quality, their products can now be tasted by customers all over the country, and in recent years, more and more foreign countries have also shown demand for their brand.

Their goal has not changed in the past 15 years: they want to produce the same high-quality, traditional, tasty meat products that can be enjoyed together by young and old, even those with intolerances.
