Physiotherapy is vital for Paralympic athletes to enhance performance, prevent injuries, and promote recovery. Through targeted exercises and rehabilitation techniques, physiotherapy helps maintain and improve mobility, strength, and endurance, which is essential for high-level competition. Furthermore, it plays a significant role in post-competition recovery, ensuring the long-term health and well-being of athletes, enabling them to continue training and competing effectively.
The program's ambassador Hajmási Éva
At the age of 21, during her tourism studies, Éva was doing her seasonal internship in Greece when she suffered a scooter accident, which significantly changed her life, as a result of which she lost her left leg above the knee. Subsequently, in 2010, she encountered wheelchair fencing. More than 10 years have passed since then, and their persistent work has yielded results. Éva can boast numerous awards, being a Paralympic silver and bronze medalist, as well as a world and six-time European champion foil and sabre fencer.
“It is a great honor for me that in the year of the Paris Olympics, Procter&Gamble supports the physiotherapy treatments of Paralympians, and I can be the face and ambassador of this fantastic campaign. – said Hajmási Éva about the collaboration. – As an elite athlete, alongside professional fencing training, I consider prevention and good physical condition essential, and supplements are important elements of my preparation. I attend endurance, speed development, and strength training sessions twice a week, during which a manual therapist assists my fitness. Additionally, I incorporate one massage per week for regeneration, and I do everything to bring out the best in myself not only physically but also mentally.”

Procter&Gamble is committed to creating a more inclusive world for everyone – both within and outside our company.
