
Preparation
First, prepare the garlic oil! In a small bowl, mix the water with the oil, add the grated garlic, stir it together, and let it sit.
For the dough, mix the sugar in the water, add the yeast, and let it rise.
Mix the salt into the flour, add the risen yeast water, and knead the dough thoroughly. When it is nice and smooth, drizzle a tablespoon of oil on top, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size (about 30-40 minutes).
Once the dough has risen, with oiled hands, form dough balls of the desired size, then stretch the edges to shape the lángos and fry both sides in hot oil until golden brown. Serve with garlic oil, sour cream, and grated cheese to taste.

- 3.5 dl water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 25 g yeast
- 500 g flour
- 1 tsp salt

- 0.5 dl water
- 0.5 dl oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- Oil for frying, sour cream and grated cheese to taste for serving
