Express Help for Moms – Polenta, Broth, and Much More

Express Help for Moms – Polenta, Broth, and Much More

Here are some more tips for mothers, because we know you can never have enough of them.

In today's hectic times, everywhere you read that you shouldn't rush, that you should do everything peacefully, and avoid stress. At the same time, we need to cook healthily, dedicate as much time as possible to our children, and remain open-minded. But all this must be done while having time for ourselves, enough exercise, and even cooking healthy meals. No matter how hard we try, we don't always manage to perfectly organize our time. Especially if a mother has no help or works part-time from home. So if we don't want a day to completely slip away, we have to give up on perfection and occasionally order that certain pizza.

How can we still save time? Here are some tips!

Polenta

Polenta is a side dish made from cornmeal, but it can also be consumed on its own. From polenta, we can quickly make porridge, dumplings, or various pancakes, or it is also common to bake it with cheese and vegetables. It is especially appreciated by active people who do not have time to prepare complex dishes but still want to eat healthily.

Broth

"What kind of broth would you like, real or cube?"

“What is the real one like?” – they ask back.

„Two cubes”.

If you want to cook healthy, tasty, and natural foods, it is ideal to use broth as a base for recipes. For a naturally homemade, real, and wonderful taste, use this instead of water. It might also be more interesting to use broth as a base for couscous and add finely chopped parsley. But if you live a fast-paced life, you probably often don't have time to make broth. Manufacturers know this, so they have done a lot of work for us, and you can also buy broth base.

Tomato Paste

A thick tomato sauce, most commonly sold in a jar, and primarily used in Italian cuisine or as a base for pizza sauce. We believe this is one of the most practical quick ingredients, as we don't have to cook and peel tomatoes. Tomato paste can be used to make tomato soup, serve as a base for tomato sauce, or for lasagna. Organic versions are also available, and different brands offer it in various flavors.

Additional tips:

- The express pasta is ready in 3 minutes.

- Quality Bolognese sauce in a jar, which only needs to be heated, mixed with pasta, and lunch is on the table.

- The pasta can be gluten-free, like rice.

- Coconut, ideally organic, mixed with vegetables and small pieces of meat, and served similarly to risotto.

- Buckwheat flakes for making a quick breakfast porridge.

- Chickpeas, which can be added to potato pancakes, pasta, or spread on bread.

- Peeled tomatoes, which are always handy. Ideal for making quick homemade spaghetti sauce.

- Frozen vegetable mix for soup. If fresh vegetables are not available, this can sometimes literally save the day.

Extra advice

Did you know that a duvet can help a lot? For example, boil the buckwheat for 3 minutes, then let it rest warm in the bed. The less time the buckwheat spends on the stove, the more nutrients it can retain. You can go for a light walk, and after you return, uncover the buckwheat and serve!
