Mill & Mortar organic Tonka bean

The tonka bean has a strong vanilla, hay and bitter almond scent. Others sense sandalwood, magnolia, clove and even pear in the bean. These complex flavour characteristics have made the bean a popular addition to sweet dishes, including ice cream and pastries, where it is grated and mixed into dry ingredients or stirred into custards, ice cream and alcohol.
