Producer information

On 1 August 1882, József Törley registered his business under the name József Törley and Co. at the Budapest Commercial Court. The history of Törley champagnes thus goes back almost a century and a half. Open to new ideas, Törley continuously developed his factory and the technology of champagne production – for example, he was the first in Hungary to introduce the process of disgorging (dégorgement) by freezing. Thanks to this, his factory became the most modern champagne factory in the country by the turn of the century. In the following decades, the fame and flavour of Törley were known from America to Australia, and the factory had depots in Hamburg, Berlin and Copenhagen. The greatest recognition, however, was that Törley was already being drunk in Paris at that time.

Storage

Store at 8-10 degrees in a dark, closed place, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
