A cut tulip is a freshly cut tulip flower, most commonly used in bouquets, floral arrangements, or for decoration.
Its long, green stem is flexible, and its leaves are lance-shaped. Its flower can be simple or full, with smooth, brightly colored petals: it can be red, yellow, white, pink, purple, or multi-colored. A special characteristic of cut tulips is that they continue to grow and bend towards the light even after being cut.
It stays fresh for a long time in a cool environment, especially if placed in clean water and its stem is regularly trimmed. Due to its elegant, clean appearance, it is one of the most popular spring cut flowers.
Storage
Store between 18-20 °C, in a bright place.
