- Roast: 2/5
- Aroma: 3/5
- Intensity: 2/5
- Acidity: 2/5
Roast level: The roast level shows how strongly the bean coffee is roasted. In general: The lower the degree of roasting, the more pronounced the acidity of the coffee – fresh fruity taste. The higher the degree of roasting, the more pronounced the taste of the coffee – strong coffee taste with chocolate undertones.
Taste: Coffee with a lower taste value has a finer and simpler taste. Coffee with a higher value has a complex and multi-layered taste. However, the number of recognizable aromas is always decisive.
Intensity: Determines how intensely the decisive aromas appear in the coffee. It is not the quantity of flavours that matters, but how strongly and intensely we taste them. The higher the value, the more intense the taste.
Acidity: Every coffee bean naturally contains fruit acids, as coffee is a fruit. You will usually find more of them in Arabica beans than in Robusta beans. The same is true for the degree of roasting. Acids are more pronounced in lightly roasted coffee than in darkly roasted coffee. However, this acidity is not a sign of faulty roasting. On the contrary, they give the coffee a pleasant fruity taste. Coffee with a high acid content will be appreciated by lovers of tangy and refreshing flavours. For those who prefer a tangy cup, with a full-bodied taste and chocolate, we recommend reaching for coffee with a low acid content.
Simply great! Say yes to UBOMI Peru Bio 100% Arabica bean coffee!
