Dúzsi Rosé Cuvée dry rosé wine

Its base is Kékfrankos, which is complemented by Zweigelt, Merlot, Portugieser, Blauburger, Pinot noir and a little Menoire. Complex, a rosé wine that pleasantly accompanies everyday life.

Producer information

Their first wine was the 1992 vintage Kékfrankos-Merlot Cuvée, which won a gold medal at the then important National Wine Competition in 1994. Tamás Dúzsi gained recognition and fame with this wine as an independent winemaker in the profession. He mainly made red wines, and also from Kékfrankos, as he had this variety. Their assortment consisted of Kékfrankos and Kékfrankos-based cuvées. Their initial winemaking philosophy was to produce the varietal selection from the existing raw material and to get the most out of it.

In 1996, they started making rosé by accident. The fermentation tank proved to be too small for the amount of harvested grapes, and this was the first time we let the must from Kékfrankos down as rosé. This rosé, with a taste unknown to the market until then, was so successful that it won tests and wine competitions in a row. Today, rosé accounts for a significant part of their sales.

They have also achieved success with these wines at several prestigious international competitions. They have brought home 36 medals from the Cannes "le Modial du Rosé" rosé world competition to date.

Storage

Store at 10-15 degrees, in a dark room, out of the reach of children, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
