Figula places great emphasis on selecting the perfect time to harvest its rosé. Fast and gentle processing is crucial for the clear colour, fresh aroma and fruity flavour.

Producer information

Figula Winery was founded in 1993 in the Balaton region, known as the jewel of the Pannonian landscape. The great-grandfather, István Tolnay, was one of the most respected winemakers in Balatonfüred in the 19th century, so the path was also marked out for his grandchildren. In order to achieve the highest quality, the family carries out or supervises every process from tending the vines to bottling the wines. In addition to respecting traditions, they use the most up-to-date technical and technological possibilities in their work.

Their vineyards are located in Balatonfüred, Balatonszőlős, Pécsely, Csopak and Tihany. On the currently 30-hectare estate – in the spirit of terroir farming in the classical sense – they treat the yield of their plots separately, working with strict yield restrictions – to showcase the diversity of the wine region. Their winery primarily produces white wines, so 80% of our vineyards are planted with white grapes and 20% with red grapes.

As a result of their conscientious and rigorous professional work, their wines have won serious recognition at numerous domestic and international competitions – Bordeaux, Brussels, Paris.

Storage

Store at 10-15 degrees, in a dark room, out of the reach of children, consume within 1-2 days of opening.
