Brown sugar

Brown sugar is made from sugar cane, its colour is darker than that of white sugar, its taste is a bit softer, slightly caramelly. You can use it for cakes, drinks, preserving, or any food to which you would have originally added white sugar.
The cane is grown with respect for the environment and biodiversity. It is then processed by hand when ripe, then pressed to obtain an amber-coloured juice that enhances the sweetness with a distinctive caramel flavour.
