About the brand

The LEGO Group is a privately held company based in Billund, Denmark. The company is still owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family who founded it in 1932. Our founder Ole Kirk Kristiansen made his first wooden toys that same year. He continued to refine his invention until his business took off.
