GUAVA: Nature's sweet pharmacy
When nature wanted to create a complete pharmacy, it made a guava tree. This tropical
classic, of American origin, is one of the most generous fruits that exist. With its pulp that
can be pink, white, or yellow, it is a true vitamin C bomb - it contains four times more than
an orange! - in addition to being rich in fiber and antioxidants.
But its gifts do not end with the fruit: its leaves are transformed into infusions that relieve
menstrual pain and strengthen heart health, while its versatile pulp is enjoyed with the
skin like a tropical apple, in vibrant salads, silky jams, or revitalizing juices.
Having a guava tree nearby is like possessing a natural candy store and apothecary in your

Uses 

Can be eaten raw after washing, like an apple, or made into a puree, which can be served as a dessert with seeds, oats and other fruits. 
Be sure to eat it when the outside is still firm, as it can quickly spoil once it becomes soft. 
As a general rule, any recipe for quince can also be used for guava. 

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, between 10-12 °C.
