Gyermelyi Vita Pasta durum Penne

Penne is a very attractive, springy pasta, the sauce gets into it, it is easy to prick with a fork, so children also like it very much. You can safely use it for ragout dishes and pasta salads alike.
What is durum pasta?
It is made from durum flour, without the use of eggs. Durum wheat is richer in protein than everyday wheat, and it is also easier to handle, so it is easy to make pasta from it. In addition, it consists of complex carbohydrates, which are an excellent source of energy. So if you consume it with the right ingredients, such as vegetables, fish, then it can also be incorporated into your healthy diet. It also easily causes a feeling of fullness, so it can also become part of a weight loss diet, as you do not need to consume much of it to feel full.

Ingredients
200 g Gyermelyi Vita Pasta Durum Penne, 150 g red onion, 4 green onions, 150 g cucumber, 150 g tomato, 1 lemon, 1 dl olive oil, 200 g feta cheese, 1 sprig of rosemary, 0.5 bunch of oregano, salt, ground pepper, 16 black olives, 16 green olives.
Preparation
- Cut the cheese into small cubes and put it in the oil mixed with the coarsely chopped rosemary and oregano.
- Grind a little pepper on it and let it rest for 1-2 days.
- Clean and wash the vegetables. Cut the cucumber in half, scoop out the seeds. Remove the skin and seeds of the tomatoes. Cut the red onion into cubes and salt it lightly, then wash it off after 3 minutes.
- Chop the prepared vegetables and green onions, then put them in a bowl with the red onion. Pour the cheese and oil over it.
- Season with salt and pepper, add the lemon juice, stir in the pasta.
- Divide the torn salad on the plates, serve the cheese pasta salad on it, and the olives.
Or make eggplant cheese penne from it!

Gyermelyi Zrt. is Hungary's leading pasta manufacturer, the largest egg producer and an indispensable player in the milling industry. In addition, it carries out agricultural activities on an area of 8,800 hectares, operating a closed vertical integration. It all started on January 21, 1953, when twelve farmers from Gyermely, unable to bear the increasingly impossible burdens of individual farming, founded the Petőfi Cooperative. In 1970, the government decided to build a pasta factory, for which they were looking for a location. Gyermely's reputable cooperative undertook the task and was given the opportunity. This is how Gyermelyi Zrt. was founded.
