Josep Masachs La Brava Cava Brut Nature
The base wine is made from Xarel-lo, Macabeo, and Parellada grape varieties. The second fermentation of the cava takes place in the bottle. It spent a minimum of 9 months on lees to preserve its freshness and complexity. Its aroma is intense, complemented by green apple, pear, dried nuts, and a hint of brioche at the end. The taste is also dominated by fruits, complemented by notes from the lees aging.

Producer Information
Josep Masach Llorach was a man of strong conviction and character, yet truly dedicated, who grew up in the Catalan vineyards. He founded the winery in the 1920s and produced his cavas using traditional methods. He shared his sparkling wines and still wines, made with yield restrictions, only with close family members and friends. Later, his son, Josep Masachs Juvé, continued the work, following the same principles inherited from his father. In 1977, Josep Masachs Juvé's children, Josep and Joan, set new directions for the family business. They also introduced a completely new range of sparkling wines.
Today, Josep Masachs is one of the most significant, now fourth-generation, family-owned cava houses in the Catalan Penedès region. Their vineyards are cultivated sustainably. Their excellent, renowned cavas are primarily made from grape varieties native to the region.
