There's that one day a year when everything is about hops.
In Kastélyosdombó, they were just harvesting fresh Hungarian Chinook hops, and they immediately dispatched the refrigerated truck. They didn't wait for storage, they didn't freeze them – a few hours later, the whole brewery was fragrant with them. This beer is about that moment: when Hungarian hops are still alive, green, vibrant, and full of energy. The character of Chinook is earthy and resinous, with a hint of spice, citrus, and summer sunshine. On the cold side, it received a dose of Centennial, Cascade, and Columbus pellets, so that the American classics could also highlight its citrusy side. The result? A fresh-hopped IPA that is both raw and aromatic, like when you brush through a hop row in the middle of the harvest.
