Schieber Gift Box Patina Cabernet Sauvignon

Aged for 14 months in Hungarian and French small barrels. An excellent vintage, reflecting the characteristics of the year. A slowly opening, complex, full-bodied wine, from which a cascade of forest fruit flavours pours over us. It is characterized by good tannin and acid structure, still at the beginning of its journey, with a great future ahead.

Producer Information

A true family winery, founded in 2010 in the Szekszárd Historical Wine Region. Their winery's centre, located at Kadarka Street 100 in Szekszárd, on a former cellar row, is a monumental building complex built in the 1800s in a classicist style, comprising a cellar, press house, and wine shop, along with the Patina Wine Manor restaurant, offering unique culinary and wine experiences.

Their vineyard estate covers 54 hectares of cultivated land, located in the Baranya Valley and Görögszó vineyards, which have excellent geographical and soil conditions. These areas are not only beautiful but also among the most valuable regions of the wine district. In 2018, they began converting their vineyards to organic farming, planting resistant grape varieties, and today they also practice organic farming in the Tabu Hill vineyards. They believe that the future lies in protecting their natural values and producing wines that showcase the uniqueness and beauty of their wine region, the Szekszárd terroir.

Storage

Store at 8-10 degrees Celsius in a dark, enclosed place, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
