About the brand

Bialetti is a truly iconic Italian brand that has been combining the ideals of Italian design, quality, and innovation for over a hundred years. Alfonso Bialetti founded his workshop in Crusinallo (Piedmont region) in 1919, where he began his business by manufacturing semi-finished aluminum products. In 1933, he designed the Moka Express coffee maker, which remains definitive to this day, creating a genre and revolutionizing home espresso making.

With its distinctive octagonal aluminum shape (Art Deco inspired), the Moka Express was not only a technological innovation but also a design icon – a piece exhibited in museums worldwide, including MoMA.
