Producer Information
The production of the first dairy margarine, under Unilever license, began in 1972 under the name Rama, at the Rákospalota factory of the Vegetable Oil and Detergent Manufacturing Company. This is when the block Rama margarine appeared. The tub Rama arrived in Hungary in 1988, and since then it has been separated into margarines for spreading on bread and for baking. The unmistakable form and quality of Rama Classic remain a benchmark today. Since 1998, the portfolio has expanded: Rama Harmónia with sunflower oil, the Creamy-flavored, which is rich and creamy, and the Sea Salt, which conjures a Mediterranean atmosphere in the kitchen.
