About the brand

In 1991, Bellinda expanded into Central and Eastern Europe, establishing its Tricotbest branch in Czechoslovakia, followed by Hungary and Poland. In 1993, Czechoslovakia, and thus our company, split into two branches – Czech and Slovak. In 2002, the company, along with the brand, was acquired by the American Sara Lee Apparel company, which brought fresh thoughts and ideas to Bellinda. But the change of ownership did not end there. In 2008, the new owner became the Sun Capital financial group, and we operated under the name DIM Branded Apparel (DBA), which changed again in 2016 when we became a member of the American Hanes group. With them, we officially joined the companies complying with strict ethical and ecological requirements. The last change occurred in 2022, and our current owner is the American Regent company, which owns the entire European division of Dim Brands International (DBI). DBI has several priorities, one of which is brand building, which is why it is returning to the historical names of its branches operating in individual countries, and we are once again Bellinda. Every year, Bellinda introduces innovative products such as BB Cream tights or the Ecosmart product line made from organic cotton. The portfolio of Bellinda Hungary Kft. also includes other global brands – DIM, Playtex, Wonderbra, Nur Die, and Lovable.
