Mirinda was originally produced in Spain. In the United States, bilingual packaging became available from late 2003 – since 2005, Mirinda flavours have largely been sold under the Tropicana Twister Soda brand name in the United States. The name Mirinda may originate from the Esperanto language, meaning "admirable". Established in 1953, the brand is now available in orange, citrus, grapefruit, apple, strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, pomegranate, banana, passion fruit, lemon, hibiscus, guarana, mandarin, pear, watermelon, grape, and tamarind flavours.
