Producer Information

The Kofola drink was born in 1960 in Czechoslovakia. By 1968, it had become a popular drink in most households and was eagerly consumed by customers. It became so popular that by 1970, it was even mentioned in song lyrics. Perhaps this also contributed to the fact that 180 million liters of Kofola were produced annually. By 1977, it had become part of people's daily lives; there wasn't a corner shop where Kofola couldn't be bought. Kofola's success has been unbroken ever since, posing a serious challenge to its popular competitors, Coca-Cola and Pepsi, in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
