About the brand

We, the Cappy team, have been squeezing the most goodness out of fruits for over 60 years. The fruits of our labour are delicious, highly nutritious and outstanding quality fruit juices, nectars and fruit drinks.

On May 13, 1940, anticipating the imminent German occupation of Belgium, Carl West, the manager of Coca-Cola in Belgium, suggested to his subordinates that they flee to England with their equipment and sugar stock. However, their long and dramatic journey failed, as they were forced to return to Belgium on the shores of the English Channel. Upon returning home, they were surprised to find that the plant remained intact.

Despite the war, life went on. Since it was impossible to obtain the famous Coca-Cola concentrate from the United States, Carl West developed an orange-flavoured drink, which he named Cappy. The Belgians immediately took the drink to their hearts, and it later became one of The Coca-Cola Company's most popular brands.
