Helmut is one of the characteristics of Lake Balaton. He strolls around in flip-flops, wears a fanny pack with a Bundesliga haircut and a hipster mustache. It's a traditional, unfiltered Bavarian wheat beer with brewer's yeast, which adds a mildly banana, clove, and citrusy flavour.

About the Brand

Hedon initially started as a nomadic brewery, founded by three guerrilla brewers in 2014. They found a building for their own brewery in Balatonvilágos, where brewing began in August 2015, in what was then considered one of the most modern craft breweries in the country. The first brew was a Credo Smash IPA, followed by other members of the series, and from then on, there was no stopping. HEDON's two flagships, Charlie Firpo and Johnny Firpo, arrived, then Helmut burst onto the scene in a beach slipper, followed by Indian Summer and the pineapple IPA Colada. The line was then concluded by the grumpy Szergej and the elegant Empress Katalin. Their pride and most Balaton-esque beer is the freshly foaming Balatonvilágosi Pilsner, which can be tasted in numerous catering establishments along the shores of Lake Balaton.

Storage

Store at 8-10 degrees Celsius, consume after opening.
