About the brand

The brand's founder, Gyula Sebő, aimed to create equipment that would allow owners and dogs to spend as much time together as possible. This is where the JULIUS-K9® brand was founded and the production of dog harnesses began. He founded his company in 1997, and by 2003, the K9 dog harnesses achieved huge success at the Dortmund exhibition. Sebő believes that the harnesses he designed become lifelong products for dogs.

Where does the brand name come from?

• Julius: German equivalent of Gyula Sebő's first name
• K9: Gyula Sebő received his first dog at Kele u. 9. in Budapest, and the company's first premises also operated at number 9 in Vienna (Langobarden Str. 9.)
