About the brand

The Harrer Chocolate Workshop and Confectionery has a history spanning several decades; it is a true family business where the dedication to quality confectionery is almost inherited through the genes. The confectionery began its operation in Austria in 1968, but since 1995, cakes made according to special recipes and fabulous chocolate creations have also become available in Hungary.

In 2009, the Harrer Chocolate Workshop, offering a unique selection in Hungary, also opened its doors in Sopron, where visitors can gain insight into the magical world of chocolate making through an extraordinary chocolate tasting. The company has been led to success and is operated day after day by the dedicated work of its owners, Karl Harrer's maximalism, and Beatrix Harrer-Abosi's caring attention.

The Harrer Confectionery and Chocolate Workshop always works with selected, exceptionally high-quality ingredients. Special attention is paid to the selection, origin, and processing of cocoa beans; thus, the ingredients used in production can only come from noble plantations.
