Description
Made from 100% Primitivo grapes using a reductive process, this wine is aged in steel tanks and comes from the Salento area within the Puglia region. The grapes are hand-picked at the end of August from 15-25 year old vines, with a yield of only 2.3 kg per vine. A ruby red coloured fruit bomb, with a medium body, characterised by black cherry and plum on the nose, and blackcurrant on the palate. In addition to its full body and silky texture, it has a beautiful tannin structure, with a hint of dark chocolate on the finish. It is ideal for friendly gatherings, with pasta, pizza, lamb dishes and medium-aged cheeses. We recommend serving at 18 C.
Ideal serving temperature: 18 °C. Storage: in a cool place, away from light and heat sources. Once opened, it can be consumed for 3-4 days.
Once the stopper has been removed, it can be consumed immediately after cooling to the appropriate temperature.
