HúsSzabóság Hungarian Angus Flank Steak

Grilled Hungarian Angus Flank Steak
Ingredients:
- 1 pc Hungarian Angus Flank Steak
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1 lime juice (optional)
Preparation:

Marinating: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, finely chopped garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper. Dip the flank steak into the marinade, making sure to coat all sides. Place the meat in the refrigerator and let it rest for at least 30 minutes, but it can stay in for 2-3 hours so that the flavors of the spices can penetrate it as much as possible.

Grilling: Preheat the grill or pan to medium heat. The flank steak cooks relatively quickly, so grill both sides for 3-4 minutes, until nicely browned on the outside and still juicy and pink on the inside. Depending on the thickness of the meat, it may take a little longer, but be careful not to overcook it, as it can easily dry out.

Resting: After removing from the grill, let the meat rest for 5-10 minutes. This will ensure that the meat juices close back in, making the steak even juicier.

Serving: Always slice the flank steak against the grain. This will help the meat to be more tender and easier to chew. You can serve it with salad, grilled vegetables, or even a light rice dish.
