Gere Raspberry Almond Chocolate

Sicilian almonds coated with dark and raspberry chocolate with Timur pepper. We envisioned this with second-fill small barrel-aged wines, as we also strive to bottle fruit-forward wines with these.

Producer Information

The family winery was started in the late 80s by the father, Tamás Gere, who, recognizing the market situation and learning the tricks of winemaking, began to cultivate grapes. As a member of the 'Villány Five', Tamás was among the first to venture into commercial winemaking, helping to establish Villány's current reputation. This momentum lasted until exactly 1998. After that, his son, Zsolt, was just starting his last year at the Budafok Viticulture and Winemaking School in the autumn when the family suddenly called him home, interrupting everything. Young, but with immense determination, Zsolt successfully overcame the first obstacle. Since then, the most beautiful wines have been attributed to his touch. Thanks to a long search for direction and continuous market observation, Zsolt now produces his wines in a well-recognizable style. Alongside elegance and richness of detail, dynamism and youthfulness also play an important role in the creation of each wine.

Store at 10-15 degrees Celsius in a dark, enclosed space, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
