A 40 ml soother container is provided for hygienic storage of the soothers. Disinfection can be carried out in a microwave oven at 400-1000 watts for 4 minutes.

Use

• Before first use, place in boiling water for 5 minutes, use enough water to prevent damage. For proper hygiene, clean the product thoroughly with mild soapy water before each use and then sterilize it. We recommend using the NUK sterilizer.
• For proper hygiene, squeeze any remaining liquid out of the soother after cleaning or sterilizing and allow it to dry.
• Do not clean the soother in the dishwasher, as the detergents used in it can damage the material.
• When sterilizing in a microwave oven: first fill the box with water up to the indicated level, then place the soother in the water in the box. Place the box in the centre of the turntable for even heating and to prevent damage to the material. IMPORTANT! Heat the closed box at the power level indicated on it. Please also follow the instructions provided with the microwave oven. Leave it sealed in the appliance for another 5 minutes. Caution! There is still a risk of scalding after 5 minutes! If the amount of water, time or power is not correct, this can damage the product! Pour out the remaining water and allow the soother to dry in the open box. Check the soother before use to make sure it is not hot. Store the box out of reach of children. Only suitable for NUK soothers. Store in a clean, dry place protected from sunlight.

For your child's safety

• Check the condition of the soother before each use and pull it in all directions. Discard it immediately if you notice the slightest sign of damage or thinning.
• Please check the feeding soother especially during teething. Some children may bite harder on it occasionally, which can damage the material or even cause it to tear. If necessary, give your child a teether.
• Only use a functional soother holder that complies with the MSZ EN 12586 standard. Never attach any other cords or ribbons to the soother, as the child could choke on them.
• Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat, or disinfect for longer than prescribed, as this can weaken the material of the soother.
• In extremely rare cases, children manage to put the soother completely in their mouths, in which case DO NOT PANIC! Thanks to the special design, the soother cannot be swallowed and the two suction openings ensure adequate breathing. In such a case, remove the soother from your child's mouth as gently as possible.
• Do not dip the soother in medicine or sweet substances and do not lick it. Such cases can cause tooth decay in your child.
• For safety and hygiene, replace the soother every 1-2 months. This is especially important because even if there is no visible damage to the soother, the material may become thinner.
• In the case of soothers with a cover, keep the removable protective cover of the soother away from children to avoid choking.
• Latex soothers are made of natural latex rubber and can cause allergic reactions. Please keep the product information and article number/item identification label.

The soother complies with the requirements of the EN 14350 standard.
