WHAT TYPE OF MEDICINE IS ANTIFRONT BÉRES CAPSULE, AND IN WHICH DISEASES CAN IT BE USED? Traditional herbal medicine, to be used exclusively for specific indications based solely on long-standing use, such as in case of weather sensitivity and to alleviate symptoms occurring in travel sickness (e.g. mild symptoms of stress, sleep disorders, impaired concentration, nausea, digestive disorders). 2. INFORMATION TO BE KNOWN BEFORE TAKING ANTIFRONT BÉRES CAPSULE Do not take Antifront Béres capsule – if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or any other component of Antifront Béres capsule, – if you have a disease that causes bile secretion disorder (e.g. symptomatic cholelithiasis or bile duct obstruction). Antifront Béres capsule is not recommended for children under 14 years of age. Antifront Béres capsule can be used with increased caution If your doctor has previously warned you that you are sensitive to certain sugars, consult your doctor before you start taking the medicine. Other medicines used during the treatment Be sure to inform your doctor or pharmacist about other medicines you are taking or have recently taken, including medicines obtained without a prescription. If you are taking an anticoagulant, consult your doctor before you start taking this product. Concomitant use of Antifront Béres capsule should be avoided with antihypertensives, because it may reduce their effect, and with certain diuretic (thiazide) products, because it may increase their potassium-losing effect. Pregnancy and breast-feeding There is not enough data available on the safety of use during pregnancy and breast-feeding, therefore pregnant and breast-feeding mothers should not use the product. Effects of the product on the abilities necessary for driving and operating machines The effect of the product on the abilities necessary for driving and operating machines has not been studied, therefore there is no data on whether the product affects the ability to drive and operate machines. Important information about certain components of Antifront Béres capsule The product contains glucose and lactose. If your doctor has previously warned you that you are sensitive to certain sugars, consult your doctor before you start taking the medicine. 3. HOW TO TAKE ANTIFRONT BÉRES CAPSULE? Always take Antifront Béres capsule exactly as described in the leaflet. If you are not sure about the dosage, ask your doctor or pharmacist. The usual dosage of the product: Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 1 capsule twice a day. Read the patient information leaflet carefully, as it contains important information for you. This medicine is available without a prescription. Nevertheless, it is essential to take this medicine carefully in order to achieve the best effect. – Keep the patient information leaflet, because you may need to read the information it contains later. – If you need further information or advice, ask your pharmacist. – Consult your doctor urgently if your symptoms do not improve or even worsen. – If any of the side effects become serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in the patient information leaflet, please notify your doctor or pharmacist. Composition per capsule: maté leaf dry extract (extraction agent: water), liquorice root dry extract (extraction agent: water), lemon balm leaf dry extract (extraction agent: 30 V/V% methanol), ginger rhizome dry extract (extraction agent: supercritical carbon dioxide), Java turmeric rhizome dry extract (extraction agent: 96 V/V% ethanol). Children: Use of the product is not recommended for children under 14 years of age. It is advisable to start using the product when the weather front is forecasted, or (for those suffering from travel sickness) directly before the travel, but at the latest when the first symptoms appear. The capsule should be taken with a little liquid, preferably before meals, without chewing. Duration of treatment: It is recommended to take the product until the symptoms persist, however the product can be used continuously for a maximum of 4–6 weeks without medical supervision. If the symptoms do not decrease despite the use, or if they persist, or if side effects not mentioned in the patient information leaflet occur, stop taking the capsule and consult your doctor or pharmacist. If you have taken more Antifront Béres capsule than you should Overdosage has not been reported so far, the effects of overdosage are not known. If you forget to take Antifront Béres capsule Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose, but continue the treatment as instructed in the patient information leaflet. If you have any further questions about the use of the product, ask your doctor or pharmacist. 4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS Like all medicines, Antifront Béres capsule can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. If any of the side effects become serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in the patient information leaflet, please notify your doctor or pharmacist. Hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash, hives, itching) may occur very rarely (in less than 10 out of 100,000 cases). In such cases, use must be discontinued! One of the components of the product (liquorice root) may cause increased blood pressure and potassium loss. 5. HOW TO STORE ANTIFRONT BÉRES CAPSULE? Store below 25°C. Keep the container tightly closed in order to protect from moisture. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children! Do not take Antifront Béres capsule after the expiry date (Exp./Use by:) printed on the container and the box. The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month. Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. These measures will help to protect the environment. 6. FURTHER INFORMATION What Antifront Béres capsule contains – Active substances of the product (content of 1 capsule): 24 mg maté leaf (Mate folium) dry extract (which corresponds to 72–120 mg maté leaf) extraction agent: water, 18 mg liquorice root (Liquiritiae radix) dry extract (which corresponds to 54–72 mg liquorice root), which corresponds to 0.9–1.26 mg glycyrrhizic acid, extraction agent: water, 10.8 mg lemon balm leaf (Melissae folium) dry extract (which corresponds to 43.2–64.8 mg lemon balm leaf), extraction agent: 30 V/V% methanol 2.3–4.4 mg ginger rhizome (Zingiberis rhizoma) dry extract (which corresponds to 46–132 mg ginger rhizome), extraction agent: supercritical carbon dioxide 1.62 mg Java turmeric rhizome (Curcumae xanthorrhizae rhizoma) dry extract (which corresponds to 32.4–81.0 mg Java turmeric rhizome), extraction agent: 96 V/V% ethanol. – Other components: Capsule content: mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, spray-dried glucose syrup (8.84 mg), maltodextrin, lactose monohydrate (0.9 mg), magnesium stearate, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, silicon dioxide, povidone, sunflower oil.
