Preparation suggestion:
Pour 1.5 dl of water over 1 tea bag placed in a cup. Cover the infusion and let it stand, consume lukewarm, with or without flavouring.

In Hungary, the purchase of medicinal plants in villages and their further sale to the urban population began at the end of the 19th century. As a result of gradual development, propaganda and organisation, Hungarian medicinal plants gained international fame due to their excellent quality and high active ingredient content. Organised buyers gradually took over the place of private trade, even in the case of wild medicinal plants, which made regular collection possible. With state support and propaganda, the cultivation of certain medicinal plants also began.

The Medicinal Plant Experiment Station, founded at the beginning of the 20th century, promoted further professional development. The use of medicinal plants gained more and more ground in folk medicine as well.
